Ducati Hypermotard V2 SP (2026)
TECHNICAL DATA
Conclusion from the 1000PS editorial team
So is it a supermoto, a naked bike or a fairing-clad track machine? On country roads, the answer is surprisingly straightforward. The V2 SP doesn’t force anyone to push hard; it can chug along leisurely through built-up areas, remains stable on the motorway and handles poor road surfaces better than expected. Once the tyres and rider are warmed up, it becomes a hyper-agile cornering machine whose limits are virtually unreachable on public roads. It feels a bit big for a tight karting circuit, and could do better on a large race track, but it’s right at home on the twisties in between. Anyone willing to swallow the hefty price tag and looking for supermoto ergonomics combined with naked bike performance might just find the ultimate country road bike here.
